Oregon Framework for Teacher and Administrator Evaluation and Support Systems
Description of evaluation system 
The evaluation system for administrators must include evidence from three categories: professional practice, professional responsibilities, and student learning growth. Possible measures can include 360 feedback, professional goal settings, portfolios, and student growth goals.
Frequency of performance evaluation 
At least every 2 years
Intended use of performance evaluation 
Local school boards must describe in policy how the educator evaluation system will inform personnel decisions such as contract status.
Rubric or evaluation instrument 
Oregon has a template for gathering artifacts called the Oregon Administrator Rubric. However, districts can develop their own rubric based on the Educational Leadership/Administrator Standards.

Principal preparation program accreditation or approval standards 
Oregon has an agreement with CAEP and its standards include: Content and Pedagogical Knowledge; Clinical Partnerships and Practice; Candidate Quality, Recruitment, and Selectivity; and Program Impact; Provider Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement.
Description of program approval review process 
Programs seeking CAEP accreditation must submit a self-study for formative feedback through off-site review, survey stakeholders, and host a site visit. The Teacher Standards and Practices Commission provides forms and instructions on how to meet Oregon standards and requires submission of a template that includes information such as program description, transition point assessment (e.g., admissions, program assessments), course alignment to standards, field experiences, syllabi for course, summary of assessments, and resumes of faculty.
