The system is composed of two categories: Student Educational Outcomes (50%) and Principal Leadership Practice (50%). The student educational outcomes are based on five targets chosen by the principal and evaluator and may include growth, proficiency, absenteeism, gap rate, or other academic measures. The Principal Leadership Practice category is measured via a rubric collecting observations and artifacts.
