Delaware Performance Appraisal System II (DPAS-II)
Description of evaluation system 
Five components: Vision and Goals; Teaching and Learning; People, Systems and Operations; Professional Responsibilities; and, Student Improvement. The first four components are assessed with a rubric. The last component is assessed through two equally weighted student growth measures: students meeting growth targets on the state assessment in ELA/math and an individually determined measure based on state recommendations and school or district student achievement priorities.

Description of program approval review process 
The program review process requires programs to gather data for eight annual measures that demonstrate impact around student learning, principal effectiveness, employer and completer satisfaction, and outcomes such as graduation, licensure, and employment. Providers submit a self-study report with these data and CAEP peer reviewers conduct a formative off-site review to determine if the program is meeting standards and to identify area(s) of focus for the on-site visit. After the formative review, CAEP sends a team to conduct a 2- to 3-day on-site visit to conduct interviews, review evidence, and verify data.
